About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a suitable, competent and skilled STOCK ACCOUNTANT to work in Uganda

JOB SUMMARY
To manage the company stocks for OEUL and OGUL. This includes ensuring all stock positions are always accurate and ensuring system quantities are reconciled to physical counts. Ensure stock reconciliations are prescribed frequencies and availed to the respective team members for reconciliation

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Timely entering of stock into the system as received by the supply team with accurate costs, location and quantities. To ensure that proper descriptions are attached to the respective GRNs
• Monitor and record stock transfers between locations
• Monitor and enter LPG refill transactions in the system
• Monitor and reconcile stock movement from purchase to sales points
• Organize and coordinate stock take activities with support from the management accountant
• Perform weekly and monthly stock reconciliations to ensure all products are accurately recorded and reconciled. Any variances identified should be investigated and resolved
• Periodically carry out site visits to all locations where stock is held in order to substantiate stock take results
• Maintain an order filling system ensuring that all documents are retained and can easily be located and accessed
• Pass stock losses and adjustments are approved by management
• Support the functional teams i.e. Sales, Operations, Admin and maintenance as required
• Ensure Oryx HSSEQ standards are enforced and maintained with support from the HSSEQ Manager
• Any other roles as assigned from time to time

KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND DERIVARIABLES
Internally
• Management Team: Financial Reports
• Finance Team: Treasury, Receivables, Credit Control, Accurate documentation and record keeping
• Supply Chain: Product Supply
• Operations: HSSEQ Standards
• Group Financial team: New Financial and Accounting Standards of the Group
• Functional Support Teams: Assist Sales, Operations Admin Maintenance etc.

Externally:
• Customers Product Sales, Sales collections, Supplier Accountant reconciliation, Vendor Account reconciliation

Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce and/or Business Administration or related discipline
• Relevant Professional courses CPA/ACCA is an added advantage
• Min. of 3 years FMCG sales experience
• Prior experience using an ERP is required
• Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
