East African Distributors Ltd (EADL) was established on 6th January 1995 as the trading arm of the Madhvani Group and is the distributor of world-class construction brands of the highest quality. We are the preferred supplier to the construction industry in Uganda and our newly designed showroom reflects our increasing presence in Uganda and beyond. We are recruiting urgently the following positions for our operations in Uganda:
Job title: Store Officer
Overview
The incumbent is responsible for: Keeping inventory records, receiving and recording the receipts and issues, monitoring stock usage, to provide pro-active advice to inventory controllers/ sales Managers on inappropriate levels, and potential problem areas such as stock outs or low stock., develop a system for identifying all SKU/part numbers as per business needs and store them in such way that locating materials in stores based on part numbers, ensure all items arriving/leaving the store are packaged and documented correctly by enforcing compliance with our standards. Responsible for quarterly stock counting. The ideal candidate should be a graduate with additional qualifications in Stores management with two years of work experience in a similar capacity. Knowledge of Tally and MS office usage is essential.
