JOB DETAILS:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION The person will be responsible for issuing wines and Spirits as well as carrying out proper stock control and reconciliations with available system. .
KEY DELIVERABLES FOR THIS POSITION
• Actively reconcile inventory/ stock records with the Company’s preferred accounting system.
• Ensure all vehicles are correctly loaded, off loaded and reconciled while working hand in hand with the Accounts office
• Manage, recruit, train and motivate the Casuals/ Off-loaders.
• Count and verify that number/s of Items in stock are up to date with system records.
• Receive stock from suppliers and related parties
• Maintain a stock in and stock out movement analysis on book or on computer which is reconciled with the Accounts clerk Daily.
• Check and inspect items in store to ensure acceptable storage & handling conditions.
• Check and verify expiry dates- ensure management has ample notice of near expiries.
• Prepare Goods Issue/ Returns notes for the accounts team
• Carry out stock reconciliations daily and once a week with Branch Accountant/ Accounts Clerk, these must be signed, dated and filed for records.
• Carryout any other reasonable duties within their contract boundaries as may be assigned by their Supervisor, Manager or Managing Director as required during the exercise.
• Ensure breakages and shortages stay within the allowable limits communicated in advance.

1. Stock reconciliations- signed and stamped by Accountant and Store manager- weekly

Academic Qualifications
• Degree or Diploma in Logistics Management
• Degree in Procurement or any other related field.
• One year’s related experience in a busy store
