JOB DETAILS:
General Summary
The study runner will be required to retrieve participant charts from either the IDI records office or store for archived files. They will also be required to assist in couriering and delivering documents or any other study-related material to or from the IDI site. The individual should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with the records officer to retrieve study participant charts from the records office in IDI-Mulago.
• Work with the records officer to retrieve archived study participant files from the store in Ntinda.
• To ensure that all participant charts are returned to either the medical records office or store after they have been used.
• Assist in delivering study documents for example consent patient reimbursement forms.
• Any other duties (within reason) that may be assigned by the Medical Officer or Principal Investigator.
Person Specification
• Uganda Certificate of Education.
• Experience in performing similar roles in a research study or clinical trial is an added advantage.
• Speed and accuracy at performing tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
• Good communication skills.
