BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING

SUPPLY OF MEGA PHONES TO FACILITATE THE CONDUCT OF VOTER EDUCATION OUTREACH
EC/SUPLS/2024-2025/00547

1. The Electoral Commission has allocated funds to be used for the procurement of Mega Phones to facilitate the Conduct of Voter Education Outreach.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 4th Floor, Room 4.6, Plot 13/15, Industrial Area, Kampala from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
5. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 to the Electoral Commission’s bank account, Diamond Trust Bank, Kampala Road Branch. The deposit slip must be presented to the Procurement and Disposal Unit for issuance of the bidding document.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 6(a) or before 21 February 2025 at 11:00 a.m. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 7,950,000 (Seven million nine hundred fifty thousand Ugandan Shillings only). Bid securities must be valid until 25 June 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 6(a) at 11:15 a.m. on 21 February 2025.
7. There shall not be a pre-bid meeting for this procurement.

Schedule of Procurement:
(a) Bid closing date: 21 February 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
(b) Evaluation process: 22 February 2025 to 28 March 2025.
(c) Display and communication of Best Evaluated Bidder: By 28 March 2025.
(d) Contract signature: 11 April 2025.
