UGANDA COVID-19 RESPONSE EMERGENCY AND PREPAREDNESS PROJECT (UCREPP)
INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)
The Government of Uganda has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the COVID-19 Response Emergency and Preparedness Project (UCREPP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply Two 50-Seater Buses, Two 1-Seater Mini Vans and Two Double Cabin Pic Ups.
The Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of Two 50-Seater Buses, Two 1-Seater Mini Vans and Two Double Cabin Pic Ups.
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guide Lines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and DA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 (revised July 2014) (Procurement Guidelines), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon submission of a written application to the address in 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 (Uganda Shillings Two Hundred Thousand). The method of payment will be by cash deposit to the Diamond Trust Bank account at NTR Account Number 00401168000001. The document will be collected from MOH/UCREPP – Procurement Offices upon presentation of proof of payment.
Bids must be delivered to the address in 4 above on or before January 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM (Local Time). Electronic Bid submissions will not be accepted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address in 4 above on January 20, 2025 at 11:15 AM.
