BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Supply and installation of Enterprise Network Firewall Solution
UEGCL/SPLS/24-25/20901

Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL) has received funds to be used for the acquisition of an Enterprise Network Firewall Solution.

The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, CAP 20 as amended, and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be through the URA Portal, accessible on the UEGCL website (www.uegcl.com), and a receipt must be obtained from UEGCL Office.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 am on Thursday, 30 January 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 6,408,000 (Uganda Shillings Six Million Four Hundred Eight Thousand Only). Bid securities must be valid until Thursday, 28 August 2025, late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10:00 am on Thursday, 30 January 2025.

There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting/ site visit at UEGCL Head Office, Kampala on the date indicated in the planned procurement schedule below.
