JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
Develop and monitor the implementation of systems, policies, strategies and plans for TB with an aim of strengthening health systems to improve TB/HIV services in alignment with the MOH and the Global END T.B strategies.

Overall Responsibilities
• Develop, coordinate and monitor plans for implementation of TB/HIV activities in project supported districts.
• Provide technical support and guidance to districts, cluster, and partners in implementation of TB/HIV activities.
• Develop, coordinate and monitor implementation of strategies that increase TB case finding, case holding, treatment outcomes and TB/HIV collaborative activities.
• To coordinate and conduct TB/HIV trainings, mentorship and coaching on TB/HIV activities in both project supported regions.
• Support integration of Quality Improvement into TB/HIV services
• Develop, monitor and coordinate procurement plans for TB/HIV program in line with the Baylor procurement policy
• Take lead in the development of technical guidelines and tools' for TB/HIV services.
• Support a competent & motivated team of HIV/TB team in line with the organizational policy.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships & networks with MoH, Donor agencies and other key stakeholders at district, regional and national level.

Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
• First degree in Medicine and registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council. A Masters in Public Health, epidemiology or health services management will be of added advantage
• 3 years of experience in managing TB related programs/projects with (2) years relevant working experience preferably in health development at a middle management position, with a reputable international NGO, and direct experience with government and donor representatives
• 3 Years Relevant Experience
