Background
As a casual worker you will be hired on a temporary and intermittent basis to fulfill short-term or irregular work requirements. You will not have a fixed, ongoing commitment to the employer and do not have the same level of job security or benefits as full-time or permanent employees. You will usually be employed to address fluctuating workloads, seasonal demands, or specific projects where the need for labour is uncertain or irregular. There will be time when you will have irregular working hours, and your employment may not be guaranteed beyond each individual assignment or working day.

Responsibilities:
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of field workers to achieve daily and weekly operational goals.
• Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and strengths, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, ensuring their professional development and growth.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with the management to develop work schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and timely task completion.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines by all team members.
• Oversee the proper and safe use of equipment, tools, and materials by the team.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents or issues that arise during field operations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency optimization, proposing and implementing solutions.
• Address and resolve any conflicts or challenges that arise within the team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Uphold a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications:
• Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in team leadership or management is a plus.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a field operations setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, capable of handling unexpected situations.
• Proficiency in using technology and software tools for communication, scheduling, and reporting.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to field work.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Flexibility in work hours, as field operations may require adjustments based on project demands.
