JOB DETAILS:
Organization Background and Position Overview
Doctors with Africa CUAMM is a leading international non- governmental organization dedicated to advancing universal access to quality health services. CUAMM believe that health is a fundamental human right, with a particular commitment to improving access for those most in need. Currently, CUAMM is implementing a project funded by the ELMA Foundation. The goal of the project is to contribute to reduction of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality through improved access of quality and utilization of maternal and new born health care service in the 4 Karamoja and 3Lango districts.

Key Responsibilities

• Maternal & Newborn Care Support: Offer technical guidance on RMNCH interventions, support guideline development, and facilitate clinical mentorship.
• Resource Mobilization & Partner Coordination: Aid in resource mobilization efforts partner coordination, and ensure alignment with MNCH goals. Regional Maternal Newb n Support: Coordinate regional newborn ca pl arms, develop strategies, monitor progress, and sup the National MNH Technical Working Groups.

Required Qualifications and Experience
• Education: Masters Degree in Maternal newborn and
• child health related field, MMED OBSTETRICIAN/ GYNECOLOGIST or MMED PAEDIATRICIAN, Public health training is an added advantage.

Experience:
• At least 5 years in RMNCAH and public health programming. with sub-national program management experience. Knowledge and Technical Skills:
• Uganda health policy, RMNCAH+N Sharpened Plan, district health systems, and innovative approaches to newborn care, Strong data management skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to support junior staff capacity building and Proficiency in stakeholder engagement facilitation, relationship management, and technical reporting.
