JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose
The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of network, security, and communication systems, including man-traps, cameras, and intercoms. The technician should have excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, communication systems including routers, switches, intercoms and firewalls.
• Design, install, and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and man-traps.
• Troubleshoot and repair network, security, and communication systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and backups
• Provide technical support and training to users
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field
• Maintain accurate records of system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades

Qualifications
• Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering electrical or a related field
1+ years of experience in network administration, security systems, and communication systems
• Valid driving/ riding licence.

Skills
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Knowledge of security protocols, including SSL/TLS and VPNs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, and work in cramped spaces
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
