JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Telecommunications Technicians is responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing a variety of telephone equipment, installing voice and data communication circuits, security cameras, panic systems, door access, and cabling.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting telecom systems and equipment.
• Installing telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, alarm, and and fire-suppression systems
• Able to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications, and cut sheets
• Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals.
• Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
• Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Sourcing replacement parts.
• Embrace Company’s safety culture by following safe work practices and policies
• Maintain compliance with customers’ security requirement ensuring junior team members comply
• Repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
• Fabricating any components required.
• Keeping abreast of advancements in your field.

Qualification and Experience:
• High school diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, computer science or another related field is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• 3 years’ experience as a technician.
• Ability to multitask and liaise with professionals in different fields.
• Ability to explain problems simply and clearly.
• Technical and problem-solving skills.
• Successful candidates with relevant experience and recognized expertise in large onshore/offshore oil and gas EPC projects will be preferred.
