His Kingdom Broadcasting Services is a Christian Media Broadcasting House in Uganda and it is based in Mengo-Kampala operating both a radio and television station. For more information, please visit www.kingdomtv.ug. We are seeking competent persons to fill the following vacancy.
3. Television Programming Manager (1)
The television (TV) Programming Manager is responsible for all the programming content for Kingdom Television (KTV). Manages programming team, cultivates talent and determines the best ways to showcase on-air personalities. S/he work closely with presenters and are involved in developing promotions, handle creative production and station imaging and videos. Also manages the music/films for the KTV creating the music logs and decide what gets put onto the station playlist. .

The job requirements include but not limited to:
• Extensive experience in Television Programming, Journalism, or Business Management or Media Industry
• Ability to generate original ideas, and to think creatively about how to communicate them
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Thorough knowledge of the Radio market and programme styles, and audience demographics
• The ability to work effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
• Extensive experience in managing creative teams, and encouraging acceptable creative risk taking
• Ability to give and accept feedback, and manage performance through constructive reviews of output
• Thorough knowledge of the law, ethics and industry regulation as they affect Radio Station
• Knowledge of the requirements of the relevant Health and Safety legislation and procedures
• A high level of IT skills – particularly in word, graphics, designing, recording and data applications
• Self-motivation, determination, diplomacy with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree or Diploma in Journalism, Computer, Media, Business studies or closely related fields.
• Mature Christian with strong commitment to strong Christian beliefs.
