TENDER NOTICE
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) was established on December 14, 1950, by the United Nations General Assembly and mandated by the United Nations to lead and coordinate international action for the worldwide protection of refugees and the resolution of refugee problems. In order to support its operations, its Sub Office in Adjumani is seeking for reputable and reliable construction companies to submit their offers for civil works for the completion of 01 block of 3-classrooms with an office: 02 blocks of 5-stance VIP latrines and 01 block of 2-stance VIP latrine at Bright Future Primary School Zone 8-Palabek Refugee Settlement) in Lamwo District for UNHCR Sub Office Adjumani Uganda.
Sealed Offers are invited from reputable and reliable suppliers/vendors/companies who are duly registered by the Government of Uganda, have Valid Tax Compliance, and have previously undertaken similar supply of goods.

TENDER DESCRIPTION
CIVIL WORKS FOR THE COMPLETION OF 01 BLOCK OF 3-CLASSROOMS WITH AN OFFICE: 02 BLOCKS OF 5-STANCE VIP LATRINES AND 01 BLOCK OF 2-STANCE VIP LATRINE AT BRIGHT FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL (ZONE 8-PALABEK REFUGEE SETTLEMENT) IN LAMWO DISTRICT FOR UNHCR SUB OFFICE ADJUMANI-UGANDA.
Tender documents should be picked up free of charge from UNHCR Sub Office Adjumani or requested through email at ugaadsupbox@unhcr.org during working hours from 08:00 Hrs to 17:30 Hrs. Bid documents shall be available from 10 October 2024.
Bids should be submitted as specified in the tender document
Please direct any request for clarifications or inquiries to ugaadsupbox@unhcr.org with the deadline for clarifications or inquiries being 23 October 2024-17:00 Hrs EAT.
Amandatory site visit will be held at Bright Future Primary School (Zone 8-Palabek Refugee Settlement) in Lamiv District on 22 October 2024. The assembly location will be at the Palabek Base Camp at 10:30 Hrs (10:30 am).
NO other exercise shall be conducted beyond the stated date. Please contact Engineer Jackson Ojok, on email at ojokj@unhcr.org or mobile number +256 771 448 209, who will coordinate the site visit and sign off the site visit certification form.
UNHCR will organize a supplier pre-bid conference at UNHCR Field Unit Lamwo on 22 October 2024 at 14:00 Hrs EAT after the site visits.
Late submission of bids or bids not conforming to the tender documents and conditions will not be considered.
UNHCR reserves the right to reject part or whole offers without assigning any reason whatsoever and will not be obliged to select the lowest offer.
Deadline for bid submission: Thursday 31 October 2024-17:00 Hrs EAT.
