TENDER NOTICE
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) was established on December 14, 1950, by the United Nations General Assembly and mandated by the United Nations to lead and coordinate international action for the worldwide protection of refugees and the resolution of refugee problems. In order to support its operations, its Sub Office in Adjumani is seeking for reputable and reliable construction companies to submit their offers for civil works for the construction of overnight shelters and VIP latrines at the Kiryandongo Reception Centre in Kiryandongo District and overnight shelters at the Nyumanzi Reception Centre in Adjumani District for UNHCR Sub Office Adjumani-Uganda.
Sealed Offers are invited from reputable and reliable suppliers/vendors/companies who are duly registered by the Government of Uganda, have Valid Tax Compliance, and have previously undertaken similar supply of goods.

TENDER DESCRIPTION
CIVIL WORKS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF OVERNIGHT SHELTERS AND VIP LATRINES AT THE KIRYANDONGO RECEPTION CENTRE IN KIRYANDONGO DISTRICT AND OVERNIGHT SHELTERS AT THE NYUMANZI RECEPTION CENTRE IN ADJUMANI DISTRICT FOR UNHCR SUB OFFICE ADJUMANI - UGANDA.
Tender documents should be picked up free of charge from UNHCR Sub Offices Adjumani or requested through email at ugaadsupbox@unhcr.org during working hours from 08:00 Hrs to 17:30 Hrs. Bid documents shall be available from 15 October 2024. Bids should be submitted as specified in the tender document.

Deadline for clarifications or inquiries: 28th October 2024-17:00 Hrs EAT.
Mandatory Site visit to be held at Nyumanzi Reception Centre and Kiryandongo Reception Centre at 10:30 Hrs (10:30 am) on 23/10/2024 and 25/10/2024 respectively. NO other exercise shall be conducted beyond the stated dates. Please contact Engineer Jackson Ojok, on email at ojokj@unhcr.org or on cell phone number +256 771 448209, who will coordinate the site visit and sign off the site visit certification form.
UNHCR will organize a supplier pre-bid conference on the 25 October 2024 for both lots at the UNHCR Office in Kiryandongo at 14:00 Hrs (2:00 p.m.) after the site visit
Late submission of bids or bids not conforming to the tender documents and conditions will not be considered.
UNHCR reserves the right to reject part or whole offers without assigning any reason whatsoever and will not be obliged to select the lowest offer.
