JOB DETAILS:

Function: Sales and Distribution
Reporting to: Regional Business Manager

Job Purpose:
Responsible for developing and implementing the Territory’s strategy to deliver on customer additions and revenue numbers. The role is also responsible for managing and supporting Airtel distributors and staff with in the designated territory by coordinating all planned segments and interdepartmental activities in order to grow market share and enhance achievement of Airtel’ s overall business objectives for the territory.

Key Result Areas -
1. Grow company SOGA, RMS and CMS within the Territory as shall be projected by the AOP numbers.
2. Develop sales strategies to address grow CMS (Customer Market Share), SOGA (Share of Gross Add) and RMS Revenue Market Share.
3. Utilize market research and effective competitor analysis to develop and implement sales plan/strategies that will give Airtel an edge over completion.
4. Act as a consultant on planned Marketing campaigns within the territory.
5. Track & evaluate campaign effectiveness within the territory.
6. Tracking of Territory Network KPIs on service delivery and site productivity.
7. Drive desired customer experience in all Airtel Experience centres/ touch points in the territory.
8. Manage, develop and motivate staff.

Ideal Candidate
1. Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or equivalent training in business or sales management.
2. Masters /post graduate qualification in business management is added advantage
3. 8-10 proven successful years of sales with a combination of direct and indirect (distributors) market approach in the Telecommunications Industry or FMCG environment
4. Able to operate in a performance driven organization
5. Customer focused
6. Strong planning and organizational skills.
7. Strong analytical skills.
