The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will support the projects learning agenda encompassing all project M&E activities including the development and implementation of the Performance Monitoring Plan; monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on project performance; coordinating M&E inputs by partner organizations; and the synthesis and dissemination of evidence-based best practices for strengthening and scaling up FP services. S/he must have a Masters degree or higher in public health, demography, sociology, biostatics ora related field with five years of experience implementing monitoring & evaluation efforts for health programs in developing countries Knowledge of various methodologies for M&E along with experience with USAID project and performance management and results reporting is preferred. Computer literacy in statistical and database programs such as SPSS, Stata, EPI info, and MS Access is desired; experience with geospatial analysis and GIS is an advantage. S/he must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in team settings and have the ability and willingness to travel.
