JOB DETAILS:
Duties and responsibilities:
• Drive Company vehicles/authorized passengers to specified destinations as approved by the supervisor in line with SPOUTS of Water usage policy.
• Ensure vehicle log-books are completed accurately for each journey made.
• Delivery of goods to specified people, places and offices in line with SPOUTS of Water policies.
• Ensure the vehicle is well maintained e.g., engine oil, water, nuts, battery water, insurance is up to date, brakes, tyres pressure etc., prior to any journey and carry out regular vehicle repairs.
• Report all major and minor losses, damages and accidents on the vehicle to the supervisor.
• Liaise with the responsible persons to ensure that the vehicle is booked for service/repairs in a timely manner.
• Prepare and submit vehicle monthly reports i.e., Milage.
• Inspect trucks on a daily basis ensuring cleanliness and good working conditions.
• Timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain and update the record of all deliveries.
• Load, offload and transport heavy cargo/materials safely.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Must have a valid driving permit preferably class (C or CH)
• 5 years experience in driving with clean driving record. (3 years as truck driver)
• A certificate in automobile mechanics /defensive driving is an added advantage.
• Effective in written and verbal communication in English.
• Works well in a multi-functional and multi-cultural team.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of SPOUTS.
