JOB DETAILS:

Wagagai Limited is looking for a suitable candidate to work as a truck driver in Overhead project.

Summary of essential Job functions
1. Transporting cuttings to and from the handling companies at Entebbe Airport and other destinations.
2. Transporting goods, people and other materials as may be assigned by his supervisor.
3. Checking the condition of the vehicle on a daily basis.
4. Ensuring safety for the vehicle and people in and around it.
5. Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Logistics or Management.

Job related knowledge, skills and abilities
1. Must have a Valid Driving permit (Class B,C & CE)
2. At least 5-years truck driving experience.
3. Able to work under minimal supervision
4. Able and willing to work on weekends, public holidays and during the night.
5. Able and willing to make overtime whenever necessary or can be recalled to duty whenever there is need.
6. Must have analytical skills to identify a mechanical problem before or during driving, and report it to the mechanic.
7. Honest, loyal, reliable and accurate at all times in favor of the company.
8. Able to observe road traffic regulations and always sober when operating or driving a car.
9. Able to speak basic English to communicate on a normal level
10. A team player who is able to keep good spirit among his colleagues. He always thrives towards achieving high performance standards, in line with company objectives.
