JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) is actively searching for an individual to serve as a University Controller

Responsibilities
• Act as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Reporting Officer, overseeing the University’s financial accounting, treasury operations, financial systems and payroll.
• Provide direction, coordination and supervision for financial planning and administration.
• Maintain the University’s accounts in a form determined by the University Council.
• Supervise the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and financial reports and submit them to the University Council.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Vice Chancellor.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree from a recognized institution in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Human resource or management.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Membership in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda(ICPAU).
• At least 6 years of relevant managerial experience in a reputable organization.

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
