JOB DETAILS:
Farm Source Ltd (FSL) is a private limited Firm established in 2006 to provide Veterinary Medicines, Agricultural Chemicals, improved seeds, and extension services. To date, the firm is engaged in import and distribution in all regions of Uganda, farm production in Mukono and retail through sales outlets in the districts of Mukono and Kamuli.
FSL now invites qualified and interested persons ready to work with a motivated team to submit detailed applications for the following position that exists in the Company.
Reporting To: Manager, Retail section
Responsible for: None
Salary Grade: F4
Job Purpose: To manage veterinary outlets and increase revenue through sale of products.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
a) Manage the daily running of the Veterinary outlets as per deployment
b) Ensure veterinary products are sold within strategically agreed time frames while attaining profit levels and stock counts are undertaken
c) Ensure cash and cash equivalents are banked timely and intact
d) Market products and sensitize customers and general public and inspire them about use of farm products and modern facilities available on market.
e) Ensure that all goods are properly received into stores, appropriately and put under safe custody
f) Ensure that goods received are properly categorized, priced, costed as well as proper periodic stock-taking is carried out in a timely manner
g) Carry out Stock reconciliations such that stock balances are monitored & communicated, necessary stock transfers is done and absolute stoke is identified
h) Provide good customer care to ensure customer satisfaction
i) Opening and closing business premises and sales outlets timely
j) Ensuring that stock is monitored and does not get expired including producing monthly expiry survey reports
k) Ensuring that the sales outlet is clean and well arranged
l) Prepare and submit periodic performance reports including weekly, monthly and annual reports as required by the supervisors
m) Maintaining safe custody and accountability of all company property and trading stock under your supervision
n) Any other duties related to the above as may be assigned from time to time

  Personal Specifications
a) A Diploma in Animal Health, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Husbandry or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
b) Ability to work for long hours
