JOB DETAILS:
Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church founded private not for profit organization whose mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and related health care services of assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable prices. JMS is therefore recruiting a qualified and experienced Warehouse Officer to join its dedicated team.
Job title; Warehouse Officer
Duty Station; Kampala
Reports to; Manager Customer Service
Supervises; Warehouse Assistants

Main purpose of the job
Manage the day to day operations at the warehouse in order to facilitate efficient, effective storage of stock items, picking and dispatch of customer orders, and ensuring implementation of good storage and housekeeping activities and practices in accordance with JMS warehousing policies and procedures.

Person Specifications
a. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Stores and Warehousing, Logistics, Customer Care or related field.
• Training in Public Health, logistics or stores management will be an added advantage.

b. Experience
• At least three years’ experience in reputable logistics or service industry
