The Adventist Development and Relief Agency ADRA Uganda is a Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization ot the Seventh-day Adventist church that demonstrates God’s love and compassion. The organization works with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action. Currently the organization implements relief and development projects in West Nile, Acholi, Karamoja and South-western Uganda. ADRA Uganda wishes to recruit highly qualified, experienced and energetic Ugandan nationals, to occupy the vacant positions in an upcoming project due to start on 1st April 2017 as indicated below:

Project: REFUGEE EMERGENCY AID FOR LIFE (REAL) PROJECT
(Duty Station —Any of the Refugee Settlements in West Nile Region)

Wash Specialist

Education: At least a Bachelors ‘degree in any of the following fields: Water Engineering; Public Health; Environmental management; or any other relevant degree. Technical training and hands-on experience in WASH in Emergencies and development projects / programs.

Experience and other required qualifications At least 3 years‘ working experience in WASH, for refugees and displaced populations; Valid motorcycle riding permit; ability and willingness to stay in refugee camps; ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines; fully computer literate; able to collect data, analyze it and write good technical reports. A team player with good communication skills, and a high level of integrity. Should have a valid riding permit. Should be able to work and live in the refugee settlements; should have a very clean track record. Ability to speak at least one of the major languages spoken in West Nile region is an added advantage. '
