Job details:
Amaani Rwenzori is a youth development centre supporting vocational skills training in its own workshops and in private workshops in Fort Portal Town , managed by Welt Hunger Hilfe. Amaani Rwenzori is to recruit suitably qualified female or male person to fill two job vacancies as indicated her below in its well equipped pottery workshop of; pottery and in a beauty salon name the Beauty Garage.

Reports to: Beauty Salon Manager
Duty station: Fort Porta, Kabarole

Qualification and person specification:

• Substantial working experience in a busy and reputable beauty parlor catering to high end clients including international tourists and bridal entourages especially as relates to such services as hair treatment & plaiting of various styles, cutting & coloring, facial treatments, massage, pedicure & manicure and make up anistry etc. o A certificate in cosmetology from a recognized institution, a diploma is an added advantage
  
• Well - developed interpersonal, communication, leadership & book keeping skills and capable of working in a team; with ability to effectively coach and develop trainees.
  
• Should be able to express him/her self in English, Runyakitara is an added advantage
  
• Being IT literate is an added advantage
  
• Capacity to meet tight targets/deadlines, reliably and with efficiency

Responsibilities/Duties

• Offer beauty services to the clients with exceptional customer care .
  
• Render training to the apprentices/learners attached to the beauty garage with the aim of reaching the competences required in the labor market and for the Worker's PAS assessments
  
• Support marketing initiatives of the beauty garage services to the potential clients in Fort Portal and beyond .
  
• Perform procurement, planning and coordination functions for effective management of the beauty garage and efficient delivery of services to clients
  
• Encourage and mentor the trainees to embrace skills training in; enhance development of appropriate work-related attitudes, habits and behavior.
