Activities
The main responsibility of the position holder’s:
- Daily operational performance monitoring: prepare previous-day performance reviews and track performance objectives (KPIs) using digital tools.
- Postmortem benchmarking: Prepare phase performance reviews. Participate in the identification of potential operational phase enhancements and improvements.
Document solutions and associated workflows.
- Design and build Digital tools using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Virtual Agents, AI Builder, and Custom Connectors.
- Collaborate with Drilling & Wells stakeholders (engineering, operations, management) to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and implement custom applications, workflows, and dashboards to meet business needs, including AI and automation use cases.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality and performance of solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
- Educate other team members on Power Platform capabilities and best practices.
- Assist other team members in non-operational tasks with a strong management focus (budget, campaign calendar, fields operated by others)
- Regularly spend time on site to understand the operations performed, their constraints, the needs of the operational team and the efficiency of the work performed.
Qualification:
Bachelor's-level education or/plus Drilling Academy training preferred
Experience:
- Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect (PL600) certification is required and must be submitted along with the CV.
- Proven experience as a Power Platform Solutions Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Virtual Agents, AI Builder, and Custom Connector development.
- Experience with Azure services and other Microsoft technologies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, and connectors.
- Expertise in database development and management, with experience connecting to SAP
- Experience in an industrial and/or performance measurement and improvement role is desirable.
- Lean Management training is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
