Job Description
The Director Finance and Administration (DFAM) is a senior management position. As the overall head of department, you will provide senior leadership, strategic direction and performance management to teams covering the Finance Unit, HR Unit, Procurement Unit as well as Operations Support. The DFAM is a senior level position and the position holder will exercise a high level of risk perception and management and also provide support to the Audit and Risk Committee of the TPO Board of Directors where s/he sit as Secretary.

• Provide oversight to the Human Resource Unit, Procurement and Operations functions
Person Specifications
• Chartered Accountant, with CPA/ACCA and a Master's Degree in accounting, finance, business management.
• 10 years of working experience, 5 of which must have been at senior finance management and administration level. Proven experience in carrying out high quality financial analyses in the NGO sector.
• S/he must demonstrate good familiarity with accounting software preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proven administrative leadership and management ability in the areas of Strategic Planning and Organizational Development.
• Highly developed leadership, influencing and communication skills, and demonstrable capability in relationship building at all levels.
• Experience in managing big teams, organizational development and strategic planning
• Experience in managing Organization operations, human resources, logistics, and supplies.

Job purposeEnsure proper field office management by performing all secretarial, petty cash management and logistical duties.
Key qualification
• A secretarial qualification is preferred but the experience will be considered.
Experience required
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar position Excellent knowledge and experience in secretarial duties, basic accounting skills desirable
• Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office application
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills, well-organized and experience in office management an advantage

Job purposeEnsure that the principles of gender equality are integrated and followed in all project interventions.
Key qualification
• A university degree in gender and community development or related field.
Experience required
• At least 5 years' experience implementing gender interventions in rural communities
• Good understanding of gender concepts and experience with relevant approaches and methodologies.
• Excellent mobilizations and facilitation skills, very good communication and reporting skills.
• Experience working with youth is an added advantage
• Ability to speak and write in the Luganda language
• Ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid riding license & at least two years of riding experience.

Job purposeEnsure youth are equipped with relevant skills, support strengthening of youth organizations and contribute to improved youth access to resources
Key qualification:
A university degree in agriculture or related field
Experience required
• At least 5 years' experience working in agricultural extension work in rural communities/locations
• Strong knowledge and experience in agronomy and climate change adaptation for coffee and seasonal crops will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge and experience in financial literacy and Village, Saving and Loans Associations will be an added advantage
• Experience working with youth is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of the Luganda language is required
• Ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid riding license & at least two years of riding experience
