Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in nutritional science, dietetics or relevant field A minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional nutritionist

• A critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal skills
Duties and responsibilities
• Meeting with clients and identifying their dietary needs by assessing their health, exercise routine and food habits
• Developing and helping implement personalized nutrition plans for clients
• Offering advice on how to stay healthy and providing support to help clients with their progress
• Overseeing the consultation calendar to ensure efficiency
• Simplifying important information for clients and explaining the benefits of staying on a healthy diet.
• Helping to establish short and long term goals Ensuring that you stay updated on the latest nutritional diets and trends.

JOB DETAILS:Job Summary:
The position bearer will undertake the application of knowledge of general preventive and Public Health Issues through assessment, documentation, monitoring and promotion of the Health care services of the target population with the aim of preventing and or minimizing risks of disease, injury, disability and ultimately death. Public health officers’ major focus is on the overall health of communities. You will educate the target population on specific health risks as well as basic healthy living strategies, and also create programs to encourage healthier lifestyles through Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) to minimize the risk of illness, disease and infection.
You will promote public health agenda through vaccinations, surveillance, analyzing trends regarding the health of certain populations from different geographic location to look for clues and risk factors. Public health Associates will also be involved in reducing
the impact of health hazards related to the environment as well as mentor the medical teams and support staff.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Ensure collection of relevant health data, conduct analysis, and undertake an effective information utilization and its dissemination to eradicate health hazards that affect the community
• Develop and implement monthly and quarterly detailed work plans that address public health concerns, monitor their implementation and reporting
• Design and implement interventions that will improve maternal and child health services uptake among the population of interest.
• Support government health department in disease surveillance and investigate reported disease outbreaks
• Oversee the establishment of community health management committees (village health teams {VHTs} and community extension workers {CHEWs}) to enhance community participation in the service uptake as well as coordinating their activity plans.
• Carry out capacity building of communities through delivering presentations/community health education including HIV/AIDS awareness, safe motherhood, hygiene and sanitation and nutritional education to lay and professional audiences with the aim of attaining the desired standards in PHC interventions with the aim of attaining improved community participation in the eradication of health hazards that affect their respective communities
• Acting as liaisons between target groups and the networks that provide assistance
• Establish and maintain a functional surveillance system through family MUAC with support from refugee and care groups as well as design or use surveillance tools, such as screening, lab reports, and vital records, to identify health risks.
• Develop or implement interventions to address behavioral causes of diseases.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed risk reduction measures or other interventions.
• Identify groups at risk for specific preventable diseases or injuries.
• Prepare preventive health reports including problem descriptions, analyses, alternative solutions, and recommendations
• Any other relevant assignments for successful project implementation that may be given by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A diploma in any medical related field or a Bachelor’s degree in Public health, Social Sciences, Counselling, or a related qualification from a recognized institution
• At least 3 years’ experience in similar or higher position.

Job Summary:To support SGBV survivors in coordination with medical staff, OPM, Police and Community structures to reduce and eliminate SGBV occurrence in line with referral path way and donor guidelines, conducting field visits to hospitals, health centers, homes and communities for sensitization, counselling, follow-up and or ensure that assessments or tests required for all individual survivor cases are done and medical treatment given. You are also to implement scheduled planned activities and ensure targets are met in line with the departmental plan.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Provision of appropriate linkages to care and service delivery
• Provide quality, competent, clinical care that enhances the wellbeing of SGBV Survivors.
• Records keeping and management
• Compile Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half year, annual and specific activity reports and ensure timely submission to Supervisors.
• Coding, content classification (classifying documents for streamlined access to relevant information), Filing, Organisation(alphabetically) and Storage
• To utilise treatment and care resources appropriately.
• To support and collaborate with peers and other providers within the wider health care team
• To provide nursing care in accordance with appropriate professional and AHA standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of a certificate in nursing or midwifery from a recognized institution
• At least two years’ experience in similar position.
