Terms of Reference For Graduate Intern (Finance)
Location: Any Plan International Uganda Offices located in Kampala,Kamuli, Lira,Nebbi, Adjumani, Yumbe
Expected Duration of Assignment: 11 months

Plan International Uganda is one of the Operating countries in the Middle East, East and Southern Africa Region and is introducing the Graduate Trainee Program that will be a Vigorous exercise to prepare and orient Ugandan graduates towards developing their skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to make them effective employees, when they secure employment. The program will run for 11 months where successful candidates will undergo various types of training in Monitoring and Evaluation, Projects, Finance and Administration Departments.

Position Title: Graduate Intern- Finance
Reporting To: Finance Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
• Processing basic payments
• Conducting Bank reconciliations
• Assisting in Payroll Processing
• Assisting in Journal Processing
• Assisting in Statutory Reporting
• Supporting in conducting of Audits (internal and External)
Educational Requirements and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics and Accounting
• Must have acquired at least a Second-Class upper degree from a recognized University or institution
• Should have Graduated between the years 2021 and 2022

The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) is established under the PPDA Act No.1 of 2003 to develop standards and regulate procurement and disposal practices in respect of all Procuring and Disposing Entities which include Central Government Ministries and Departments, Local Governments, State Enterprises, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies and post primary training institutions. Requirements

• A continuing student pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting) or BSC Finance and Accounting from a recognized university.

Terms of engagement
• The duration of internship shall be a maximum of three months.
• The Intern shall not be entitled to any salary and benefits
