Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical head of the district health department.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate health services delivery within the district.
- Monitor the implementation of government health policies, programs, and projects.
- Manage district health data and reporting to the Ministry of Health.
- Supervise all health units and ensure proper health service delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- MBChB degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
- Master’s Degree in Public Health or Health Services Management is an added advantage.
- Must be registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
- At least 9 years of relevant experience, 3 of which should be at senior management level in the health sector.
