JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health services in Bududa District.
- Ensure compliance with national health policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Manage district health budgets, resources, and reporting to the Ministry of Health.
- Supervise health facilities, staff, and programs to improve service delivery.
- Coordinate disease surveillance, outbreak response, and public health campaigns.
- Liaise with NGOs, development partners, and community leaders to enhance healthcare access.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Masters in Public Health (MPH) or related field is an added advantage.
- Registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
- At least 5 years of experience in health management, preferably in a government setting.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
