National Content -Intern

The National Content Intern at EACOP will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of the organization's National Content initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for promoting local participation and maximizing the benefits of EACOP's operations for the communities and businesses within the region.Land Acquisition and Title Research:

Key Responsibilities
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on national content regulations, policies, and best practices within the energy and infrastructure sector.
- Analyze data and trends related to local workforce, suppliers, and service providers.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with local communities, businesses, and government entities to understand their needs and concerns.
- Assist in organizing and participating in engagement events and workshops.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Compile and maintain documentation related to national content compliance.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing key National Content metrics and achievements.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Support the monitoring of EACOP's compliance with national content regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance compliance.
Capacity Building:
- Contribute to the design and execution of training programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of local businesses and workers.
- Facilitate workshops on topics related to national content and local capacity development.
Communication and Outreach:
- Assist in creating awareness about EACOP's commitment to national content through various communication channels.
- Contribute to the development of content for press releases, website updates, and social media.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with project teams to integrate national content considerations into project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the HR and procurement teams to ensure alignment with national content objectives.
Key requirements
- Currently pursuing in a relevant degree program (e.g., business, economics, social sciences, Business Courses, Procurement) from recognized University
- Must provide Introduction letter from university and copy of student I.D.
- Must provide a partial transcript / testimonial showing current academic scores with a minimum of an
upper-second degree.
- Must be available full-time for the duration of the internship period.
- Must write and submit an internship application letter.

Context and environment
- The National/Local Content Intern will be based in the EACOP Office.
- The National Content Intern will report to the National Content Manager EACOP.
- He/she will interact with Project teams and Construction Contractor teams on a continuous basis with the guidance of the National Content Team.
- He/She is responsible for ensuring and maintaining good relationships between the EACOP and all its stakeholders and the local community.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
