Duration: 5yrs subject to annual performances and renewal conditions
Key Duties:
• The Community-Led Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (CoLMEAL) Assistant is responsible for the success of the CoLMEAL activities of TOGETHER Project.
• S/he manages information and reporting processes and products to ensure professional, high-quality communication about ADRA Uganda’s TOGETHER CoLMEAL activities and results.
• The CoLMEAL Assistant will ensure improved information management and data quality and strengthen knowledge-sharing and learning at the community level (through CoLMEAL) across the organisation with the international health and development communities.
• The CoLMEAL Assistant will assume responsibility for full-cycle CoLMEAL activities of the TOGETHER project, developing appropriate methodologies and tools to design community
• Other roles and responsibilities relevant for the TOGETHER Project success
Job title: community development facilitator (cdf) – 2 positions.
Reporting to: Program Officer (PO) with a dotted line to Community Chairperson
Responsible for: Community Development Assistant, Guard and Community Mobilizer (s)
Duty Station: Aakum Community Office – Katakwi districts/ Kidetok Community – Serere District. (May be transferred to other field offices as per PfCW HR policy)

Job Overview
The IRC has recently submitted a 3-year, 10 million USD project proposal, “Kulea Watoto,†or “Nurturing Care†to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which aims to improve access to quality early childhood care and development for children aged 5 and under through a two generational approach, reaching both young children and their adult caregivers through improved livelihoods opportunities. Kulea Watoto is anticipated to start in October 2022 and end in September 2025, and will be implemented across three districts of Uganda, specifically Kyegegwa, Kampala and Yumbe districts. It is anticipated that Kulea Watoto will be implemented in partnership with four local organizations, of which one will be responsible for the research component.
To provide oversight of the project, the IRC is seeking a Project Coordinator, who will be responsible for pushing forward all agreed project deliverables with the Hilton Foundation and work in collaboration with all project staff, including the IRC Uganda’s technical coordinators for economic recovery and development (ERD) and education, and IRC ERD and early childhood development (ECD) technical unit staff based in IRC headquarters. The role is based in Kampala with frequent travel to the project sites.
