JOB DETAILS:
Core Duties & Responsibilities
1. Generate sales plans and provide overall leadership & supervision of the sales team;
2. Develop, implement, and monitor marketing strategies for the new beverages/non-alcoholic drinks;
3. Identify business growth opportunities;
4. Prioritize and review daily sales activities performed;
5. Grow customer base; Maximize sales volumes and revenue in Key accounts within Kampala and Upcountry;
6. Set daily, weekly and monthly targets for his/her department; effectively manage & guide group efforts, tracks team progress;
7. Support the recruitment process for the Sales Team;
8. Debt collection: Following up on payments for cash and credit sales from Retailers;
9. Manage distribution network of non-alcoholic drinks;
10. Sourcing Market trends and providing Market intelligence to Team & top management.
Job requirements
1. Must have Seven (07) years of work experience in a Sales Manager position at a beverage / non-alcoholic drinks Plant/Factory.
2. Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
3. Flexible, and able to quickly adapt to new situations
4. Self-motivated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations
5. Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus, productivity, and meeting deadlines
Qualifications:
• University Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or similar;
• An advanced degree may be substituted by at least 7-10 years of experience in a Managerial role.
• Experience in a start-up environment is strongly preferred;
