JOB DETAILS:
GM Tumpeco Limited, the general distributor for household and outdoor products including fabrication and steel products, number plates, traffic road signs and billboards, wooden furniture, spring mattresses, uniports, wheelbarrows, truck bodies, water and fuel tanks, uniports and metallic shelves. We seek to recruit three (03) highly experienced sales and marketing executives.
Job purpose
In this role, you will proactively be required to market and sale a variety of company products and printing services, educate potential customers on special offers, promotions and discounts to maximize sales opportunities, profitability and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan, organize and execute sales strategies and programs to exceed set targets.
• Participate in designing and implementing marketing plans for company product or services.
• Act as a point of contact by selling company products to customers. Must act as a bridge between the company and its current market and future markets through both business to business (B2B) and business to customer models (B2C).
• Maintain and develop excellent relationship with customers through personal contact, meetings and/or via telephone and ensure superior customer service.
• Answer customer questions about product and service benefits.
• Very efficient in gathering market intelligence and customer information to enable negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications.
• Attend trade show to market company products, participate in sales campaigns and product launches.
• Track sales data and ensure sales quotas are met, analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities.
• Analyze trends, data, demographics, sales and pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
• Maintain the set performance level of hitting and exceeding the performance weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Timely reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly performance and sales activities as required by supervisor.
• Provide accurate feedback on future buying trends to the sales department in order to support the forecasting process.
• Perform any other duties as instructed by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• At least 3 years working experience in sales and marketing in a reputable company.
• Passion in sales and marketing activities.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Prior sales experience in general printing services, metal fabrication, furniture and fittings products.
• Interpersonal, public relations, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
