REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM DISTRIBUTORS FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF MSUG PHARMACEUTICAL AND FAST- MOVING CONSUMER GOODS (FMCG)
Objective
Marie Stopes Uganda (MSUG) invites applications from distributors to handle distribution of their pharmaceutical and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the selected regions of Uganda as stipulated below.
To offer support on product penetration and growth in the regions, create top of mind awareness and brand equity of MSUG products in selected regions.
MSUG Distributors' Core Deliverables i. Core roles of MSUG Distributors
To sell the Products at MSUG's recommended wholesale price.
Business development through promotion of Ma- rie Stopes products and acquire new customers.
To work in conjunction with Marie Stopes on marketing plans, and guide on sales supporting strategies.
To maintain an accurate inventory of all products, in good storage condition.
Areas of Interest
The Ankole-Kigezi subregion.
Toro subregion.
Mount Elgon Sub-region.
West Nile region.
Kampala & Central Uganda
Distributor Requirements
Experience in distribution of pharmaceutical and/or Working capital of more than UGX 300,000,000.
A sound fleet or transportation system that can service customers' orders adequately.
Dedicated sales force, sales team and automated sales systems.
Availability of physical locations in Ankole-Kigezi, Toro, Mt Elgon & West Nile sub-regions.
Trading license and other regulatory certificates in the advertised areas.
Experience in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) will be an added advantage.
Contract Timelines
Two-year contract will be signed between the ap- pointed distributor and the MSUG management. Subject to renewal according to performance of the business partner.
Submission Instructions
The Expression Of Interest proposals should be properly sealed and clearly marked "Expression of Interest for the distribution of MSUG pharmaceu- tical And Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMC- G) and shall be submitted physically in person or by use of courrier(s) to Marie Stopes Uganda, Plot No 1020 Kisugu Muyenga on or before Thursday 8th February, 2024 at/before 5:00pm
