Spear Motors Ltd, the general distributor for Mercedes Benz Group AG, Daimler Trucks AG, Stellantis and Mazda Motor Corporation for Uganda seek to recruit highly experienced Sales Representatives

Job purpose:
Sales Representatives will be responsible for conducting day to day sales of Passenger vehicles, identify leads for potential customers, and educate prospects on products through calls, trainings, presentations and providing existing customers with exceptional support, to boost our customer base.

Key roles and responsibilities
• To source for potential customer and generate leads for Passenger vehicles – (Mercedes Benz) through your contacts.
• Prepare Passenger car sales proposals, presentations and contracts for Sales Manager’s action
• Present and sell Passenger car products and services to current and prospective clients.
• Receive Passenger cars customers and attend to their needs in the most professional manner.
• Record and document properly all Passenger car sales transactions and activities in compliance with the company policies.
• Handle Passenger car customers’ inquiries as well as identify and resolve their concerns.
• Handle Passenger car customer complaints efficiently and take appropriate action.
• Maintain up to date Passenger car sales activity diary, from which to prepare the weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager
• Maintain an up to date Passenger car customer correspondence file, in order to keep a clear track record of each Passenger car customers.
• Follow up on Passenger car referrals and new leads resulting after field activity
• Participate in Passenger car promotion activities and initiatives as required.
• Assist in collecting Passenger car sales statistics to determine sales growth of the company.
• Attend all scheduled sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales, goals and obstacles.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Certificate or Diploma in a sales, marketing or business related course.
• At least 03 year’s working experience in Passenger car sales.
• Prior sales experience in a dealership or showroom setting a plus
• Good knowledge of manual and computerized sales systems.
• Proficiency in computer use, including computerized sales software.
• Interpersonal, public relations and communication skills.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
