Position Overview
Heritage International School is seeking a dedicated and innovative IT Teacher to provide engaging, hands-on technology instruction for our students. This role involves developing and delivering a dynamic technology curriculum, integrating digital tools across all subjects, and supporting students and staff in building essential 21st-century technology skills.
The ideal candidate is a Christ-centered educator with a strong technology background, a passion for student-centered learning, and a commitment to fostering creativity, problem-solving, and digital literacy in young learners.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Instruction & Curriculum Development
- Design and implement an engaging, age-appropriate technology curriculum that incorporates coding, digital storytelling, multimedia projects, robotics, and internet safety.
- Develop hands-on projects that foster problem-solving, computational thinking, and collaboration.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and digital tools to support student engagement and achievement.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate technology into subjects such as math, science, literacy, and social studies.
- Teach students digital citizenship, ethical technology use, and online safety.
- Assess student progress using technology-based assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe, and interactive computer lab environment.
Technology Integration & Support
- Support teachers in integrating innovative digital tools into their classrooms to enhance student learning.
- Support IT department and faculty in using technology effectively in instruction.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during instructional time to ensure smooth classroom experiences.
- Work collaboratively with the Curriculum Committee to update and enhance the school’s technology program.
General Teaching & School Responsibilities
- Foster a disciplined, engaging, and student-centered learning environment.
- Communicate student progress effectively through conferences, reports, and digital platforms.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, school committees, and professional development.
- Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into instruction and classroom culture.
- Engage in extracurricular activities, such as leading technology clubs, STEM competitions, or student media projects.
- Collaborate with the IT department to keep school technology up to date.
Professional Development
- Set annual professional growth goals and share them with the Supervisor.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, learning theories, and instructional strategies through workshops, conferences, and professional networking.
- Participate in faculty development sessions, Christian education training, and technology-focused learning communities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching technology at the elementary and/or middle school level.
- Proficiency in coding, robotics, multimedia, and educational technology tools.
- Strong ability to use Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and digital collaboration tools.
- Experience with STEM-based learning, design thinking, and project-based instruction is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in an International School is an advantage.
