INVITATION TO BID FOR RENTING THE COLLEGE CLUB HOUSE AND PROVISION OF MEALS TO THE COLLEGE STAFF

1. Introduction:
The Insurance Training College (ITC) of Uganda is a public tertiary institution serving as the training and membership arm of Uganda’s insurance sector. It was established in 1984 and is recognized under the Insurance (Amendment) Act 2011, which came into force in 2011 as the Insurance Institute of Uganda (IIU), and by the Insurance Act 2017 which then transformed the Institute into the Insurance Training College (ITC).

2. Background
The Insurance Training College (ITC) is desirous of renting out the College’s Club house on the northern area of Block A at Victoria Office Park, Bukoto, Kampala. The tenant that takes the space will be tasked to also provide meals to the staff of the College and other potential customers within and outside of the condominium area.

3. CLUB HOUSE RENTING
Objectives

• Create a revenue stream for the College.
• Have a service provider for meals inclusive of breakfast for college employees.
• Have in place a canteen where visitors and students can buy and have meals.
• Provide comfortable space for employees to have their meals.
• Provide meeting space for guests and staff.
• Have a conducive work environment free from interruptions.
• Promote occupational health and safety at work.

4. The Bidding documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders from the Insurance Training College Procurement and Disposal Unit at the address below at 4(a).

a). The Procurement and Disposal Unit Office, Insurance Training College, 2nd Floor Main Building Plot 5-9 Olcot Close Victoria Office Park Bukoto.

Bids must be delivered to the address above at 4(a) at or before 11:00am on 30/5/2025. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration. Bid securing declaration must be valid until 21/10/2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address above at 4(a) at 11:30am on 30/5/2025.

The Insurance Training College (ITC) is Uganda's premier institution for insurance education and professional development. Established to build capacity in the insurance sector, ITC offers training, research, and consultancy services to insurance professionals and stakeholders.

This tender seeks a qualified service provider to manage the College Club House and provide catering services for staff and visitors. The successful bidder will be responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining the Club House as a functional and professional space for dining and meetings.
• Providing daily meals (including breakfast and lunch) for college staff and visitors at reasonable prices.
• Ensuring high hygiene standards and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Creating a welcoming environment that aligns with ITC’s corporate image.
• Managing bookings for meetings and events hosted at the Club House.

Interested bidders should demonstrate experience in hospitality management, catering services, and facility maintenance. Preference will be given to providers with a proven track record in similar institutional settings.
