JOB DETAILS:
Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The individual will provide HSE support and expertise for the completion of operations, oversee site safety and ensure the effective implementation of the QHSE management system.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the allocation, retrieval and proper placement of safety items and warning signboards before, during, and after operations.
• Organize weekly safety meetings to review past safety activities, analyze issues, propose solutions, plan upcoming safety tasks and maintain records.
• Coordinate staff HSE training, attend monthly Safety Management meetings, report on safety progress, and complete required periodic safety reports for the Operator.
• Assist in organizing H2S and firefighting drills and maintain relevant training records.
• Audit site work permits for compliance with JSA/WI requirements and ensuring
high-risk operations have onsite supervision.
• Ensure daily fire safety equipment is prepared and supervise personnel to
maintain fire safety compliance.
• Monitor environmental protection procedures and ensure adherence to relevant guidelines.
• Conduct health inspections of the completion crew to verify fitness for work.
• Manage orientation and registration of visitors and new employees on the completion site and ensure the safety of foreign employees.
• Store, file, and update HSE-related documents, records, and reports.
• Lead or participate in accident investigations and root cause analysis for land completion incidents

Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong understanding and practical application of QHSE management systems.
• At least 1 year of experience in HSE management on offshore platforms or land rigs.
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, self-discipline, and professionalism in all work aspects.
• Strong organizational, coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
• Solid professional knowledge and management capabilities.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• In-depth knowledge of local oil industry laws and regulations in Uganda.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively, coordinate teams, and work across diverse cultures.
• Fluent in both the local language and English, proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.
