JOB DETAILS:
Senior Logistics Supervisor


Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible to the EPcmC Senior Logistics Interface Manager for all operational output, Logistics interface between EACOP – EPcmC Logistics SPOC – Plans / Supply Cain / all Construction Contractors / Main Logistics Contractors / and Government bodies as required.
• Establish automated distribution facility and supporting systems that lead to dramatic jump in order processing capabilities and order accuracy.
• Reduce time to market for new product development through the development and implementation engineering and quality procedures for material testing.
• Coordinate all start-up operations, including personnel recruitment, facility preparation, and software implementation, resulting in seamless transition.
• Exceed distribution financial standards by evaluating key performance indicators (KPI) and the development of a standardize operation procedure.
• Provide management and technical expertise to employees and leadership regarding logistics operations (training/manpower/equipment) and employee progression and disciplinary actions.
• Represent higher level official command at command conferences to advice on current and future status of program relative to acquisition logistics.
• Conduct assistance visits to other organizations to review their procedures and make recommendations on how to ensure compliance with establish guidelines.
• Conduct Kaizen event to better organize shipping and receiving areas thus improving efficiency and reducing errors.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or a degree in a related field.
• A Master’s degree in any related field is an added advantage.
• Professional Certification in Supply Chain Logistics desirable.
• 10- 15 yrs. minimum in Project Traffic & Logistics, with specific experience in Project Logistics management.
• Comprehensive knowledge in all phases of logistics supply management
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with venders, suppliers, and shippers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other related software
• Ability to understand, implement and adhere to standards, policies, and procedures
• Problem solving skills.
• Analytical, data driven.
