Applications are invited from suitably qualified, knowledgeable and skilled Ugandans to fill the vacancies that exist in the Ministry of Works and Transport Force Account project.
Force Account is a support project towards the development and maintenance of the National Road network in Uganda. It is an approach by the Ministry of Works and Transport to ensure cheaper, faster and effective way of developing Road network in Uganda.
Applicants should be willing to work in any part of the country by normal posting instruction.

Excavator Operator-11
Age: 25 to 60 years
Scale/Salary: FA7
Reports To: Mechanical Foreman
Minimum Qualifications;

• O-level Certificate
  
• Possession of valid Driving permit class H, G
  
• Possession of a Certificate in Operator Training Course from a recognized.
  
• Practical experience as operator of at least 2 years.
  Duties and Responsibilities:
  
• To operate the plant as may be required/instructed by the plant manager
  
• To provide guidance and safety of the Equipment
  
• Keep the equipment clean and tidy
  
• Report to the supervisor when the equipment is in need of repairs or is due for servicing.
  
• Carry out minor repairs on the equipment.
  
• Fill logbook and keep other records.
  
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to  time
