JOB DETAILS:

Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function
• To be responsible for drilling operation and technology management of the company.

Responsibilities
• Ensure QHSE management of the company during drilling operations.
• Participate in the review of the drilling program, Job safety analysis, and emergency response plan and ensure the implement in field site.
• Participate in the tendering plan and bidding strategy of drilling goods and services and ensure implementation.
• Manage the operational staff and equipment in good manner.
• Routinely manage the operations including mobilization/demobilization, reporting and taking part in meetings, tracking and planning, etc.
• Ensure proper well control management including drills, training, inspection, etc.
• Review and confirm the work order and expenditure of drilling operation and be responsible for organizing the summary of drilling project.
• Evaluating contractors‘ performance and ensuring continuous improvement.
• Responsible for the application of new operational technology to ensure to achieve high quality and low cost.
• Be responsible for operation with partners and government.
• Other duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion or the related.
• At least 10-year related working experience in O&G lndustry.
• D&C work experience is required.

Knowledge
• Understanding of Oil & Gas E&P deeply.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling designing and operation.
• Extensive knowledge of risk analysis methods, tools and process of drilling operation.
• Knowledge of cost control, completion and engineering.
• Understanding of petroleum contract, reservoir, geology and oil production.
