JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Clays Limited is Uganda’s leading manufacturer of quality building products located at Kajjansi, 14 Kilometers along Kampala—Entebbe Road with a second factory at Kamonkoli in Mbale. The company seeks to recruit competent and dynamic individuals of high integrity to fill the following position.
Post: Driver -Kamonkoli
Reports to: HR & Administration Officer
Job Purpose: The Security guard is responsible for providing effective transport facilitation, carrying out basic vehicle maintenance, ensuring health and safety compliance, adhere to road safety signs and participating in a promotional role for the company in order to attain the objectives ot the Company.

Key Responsibilities
• To ensure that Uganda Clays’ vehicles are in good condition, mechanically sound and safe to drive
• To drive passengers safely and securely to their destination, at all times complying with the laws of Uganda, Uganda Clays procedures and best practice in customer care
• To give a good impression of Uganda Clays to passengers, suppliers and others who are contacted in the course of work
• Take personal responsibility for ensuring that Uganda Clay's Quality and Safety procedures are implemented at all times

Job Requirements
• Should possess atleast a UACE qualification.
• Avalid driving pennh with the required classes as per automobile to be driven
• Certificate in Defensive Driving
• Good knowledge of driving rules and regulations, driver protocol and oourtesies (Traffic Act and other police regulations).
• Skills in carrying out minor vehicle repairs.
• Fluency in English, Swahili or Luganda
• Basic knowledge of computer i.e. email, internet, word processing
• At least four years’ experience as a driver in a business or international organisation with a safe driving record.
