JOB DETAILS:
We currently have an exciting career opportunity for the role of Investment Analyst, Jubilee Life Insurance, Uganda. The position holder will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Group reporting to Portfolio Manager.

Role Purpose
The Investment Analyst plays a crucial role in the organization's investment decision-making process, leveraging their expertise in financial research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
• Operational - Conduct thorough financial research and analysis: This includes assessing company financial statements, market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
• Corporate Governance (Regulations and Compliance) - Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies: Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures related to investment activities.
• Culture - Foster a culture of continuous learning: Encourage and support ongoing professional development within the investment team. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging investment strategies, and new research methodologies.

Key Deliverables for the position
• Timely and accurate investment research and analysis.
• Quality investment reports and presentations.
• Effective portfolio monitoring and evaluation.

Academic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics or Related fields
Professional Qualifications
• Professional certifications (CFA, ACCA) will be an added advantage

Relevant Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial research and Analysis.
• Have experience in fund management or Investment banking.
• Demonstrate 'best in class' knowledge of technology, change, process improvement and operational management in relevant businesses.
