We’re looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual with a history of strong sales team leadership and results-driven performance to support continued sales growth across Uganda.

Fenix International is a venture-backed technology company whose mission is to transform our customers’ quality of life through disruptive innovation in energy and financial services. Our flagship product, ReadyPay Power, is an expandable, lease-to-own solar home system financed through affordable installments from just $0.20 per day. We use real-time transaction data to create a next-generation credit score to finance power upgrades or other life-changing loans. This is all achieved by an obsessive focus on exceptional customer experience through-out the customer’s lifecycle.
To date, we have sold 110,000 ReadyPay Power systems in Uganda and we are growing our product portfolio and geographic coverage to bring power and a wider world of financing to over 2 million customers by 2020.
Job Description

THINK BIG: Grounded in our mission to bring life-changing solar energy and financial services to millions of people across Uganda, you will design and implement a scalable sales strategy, building on success to date. You will use our unique data sets of sales patterns and customer demographics to create and refine a portfolio of data-driven strategic sales initiatives tailored for this large and underserved consumer market in emerging markets.
Furthermore, you will contribute significantly to the Strategic Planning process at global and national levels. The lessons you learn in Uganda will be applied to new markets as we scale across Africa.
MAKE THINGS HAPPEN: You will be responsible for the implementation and success of our sales strategy. You and your team will recruit, train, manage, and retain a highly motivated team of full time sales managers and thousands of commission based sales agents that will ultimately deliver on our vision of electrifying 2 million households by 2020.
