RTI International is supporting education development around the world by strengthening education policy, management and practice to achieve measurable improvement in teaching and learning. From our well- established reputation in education system strengthening, to innovative work in early grade assessment and learning, RTI is improving education quality, relevance and efficiency through implementation of projects funded by USAID, DFID and other donors and clients. Applications are being accepted for an anticipated USAID-funded Education program in Uganda. The anticipated integrated activity will support the broad development objectives of enhancing the quality of targeted services in child development, basic education and youth development; and strengthening systems in the child protection/social welfare, education and youth engagement sectors to support and sustain the acceleration of inclusive development in Uganda.
Post: Deputy Chief of Party-Responsible for supporting the Chief of Party in management of staff, harmonization of technical activities, capacity building and stakeholder engagement.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree (preferred) in education, social sciences or related field preferred, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the field of basic education and youth programming. Experience and familiarity with donor project management policies, procedures and reporting requirements a must, particularly USAID.
