The Roles
Oxfam is looking for competent persons to join our dynamic, innovative and committed team in the following positions:
1. ELNHA Influencing Coordinator (National, fixed term, based in Kampala with frequent local & international travel)
The position spearheads influencing and advocacy work for the humanitarian capacity building Project in Uganda, using research, policy work, lobby and advocacy, media, popular mobilization and alliance building to achieve sustainable changes in consultation with Project Manager and Oxfam Country Management team in Uganda.

Skills and experience
A University Degree and or Masters in Social Sciences, Mass Communication, Law, Education and, or relevant discipline. Be conversant with The Grand Bargain, the New York Declaration and Global Compact regarding localization of humanitarian actions. Five (5) years practical working experience in advocacy and influencing work with a strong background in managing research projects, policy advocacy including lobby and negotiation
