The Supply business is composed of Source, Plan, Make and Move sections supported by the governance and manufacturing Excellence teams. Supply is responsible for the overall planning, sourcing, production, warehousing of finished product and moving them to distributor points. The Demand business is involved in marketing and selling the product through RTM partners and retailers to consumers supported by HR, CR & Legal and Finance as enablers

Market Complexity:
The role will have functional line responsibility to the Commercial Finance Manager and is a business partner to the Marketing & Innovations Director. This role has end to end accountability for Decision Support for the Marketing & Innovations teams. As part of a small team there is a high degree of self-sufficiency required in the role with direct accountability to help deliver initiatives for various stakeholders, as well as proactively pursuing value creation opportunities for the business. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders including Sales Director & Supply Chain Director.
Leadership Responsibilities:
• This role has no direct reports.
• Work with and Engage with the Marketing and Innovations Leadership Team to ensure commercial decisions are made with a full understanding of the financial implications.
Purpose of Role
To act as a partner to business (Provide financial and commercial insights as required) to influence the right business decisions to ensure the business meets & exceeds its strategic growth ambitions.
Role responsibilities
• Driving Performance management within the Organisation with the outcome of value creation by:
a) Providing insights to the marketing teams to drive an effective & efficient business model through providing continuous analysis on brand performance
b) Supporting key decision makers in each brand team ensuring they understand financial implications of the decisions they make & have the information & tools they need to make better decisions
c) Drive P&L outlook projections
d) Providing competitor Analysis
• As part of the commercial finance team, the role is responsible for the generation and submission of Annual Operating Plan, with the focus on Volumes, NSV and Re-investment Rates.
• Providing financial and commercial input to Investments and Resource allocation decisions, including pre and post evaluation of all Marketing & Innovation Activities. (Delivering improved Return on Investments).
• Supporting the business teams during the development of GAME plan & Innovation gates plus ensuring the link to commercial inputs for Capex projects.
• Own the demand process for S&OP for the business to drive an improved forecast accuracy levels through providing constructive challenges to the forecast build through use of M&E data & financial/non-financial insights.
• Coach & train teams including cross functional teams to facilitate the process of value creating decisions.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Qualifications:
• Graduate, qualified accountant or MBA.
Experience:
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in an FMCG environment in a similar role

• Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility cross the functions.
• Ability to work autonomously and engage cross-functionally.
• Commercially aware and articulate
• Analytical and logical
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize and work to deadlines.
• Flexible and able to adapt readily to a changing environment.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Financial Modelling skills.
