Job Description
Based in Kampala, Uganda, under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator - Operations, the Driver will assist with transport logistics

Requirements
• High School diploma.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in a similar position gained in an international organization.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Fluency in English
• Thorough knowledge of automobile and equipment safety.
• Safe driver with comprehensive knowledge of driving laws
• Exceptional customer service skills and pleasant personality
• Active listening skills to hear what a passenger wants.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on cars

Benefits
This is a locally recruited position, and all benefits are denominated and paid in Ugandan Shillings. The Alliance of Bioversity CIAT remuneration package includes a competitive salary, leave provisions and medical insurance. The initial contract will be for a period of two (2) years, subject to a probationary period of six months and is renewable based on performance and availability of funds
