We are the only global development organization focused exclusively on using play to transform the lives of children and youth impacted by poverty, war, disease and inequality.
Established in 2000, Right To Play is headquartered in Toronto, Canada and has operations in 15 countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

JOB SUMMARY:
Right To Play (RTP) is seeking a Gender Equality Specialist (GE) to support with SHARE, a five-year program funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) due to start in July 2021. SHARE will be implemented as a consortium led by RTP, in partnership with Water Aid, the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) and FHI 360.
Designed as a gender-transformative, human-rights progressive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) program, SHARE seeks to increase the enjoyment of health-related human rights by adolescent girls and young women in Ghana, Mozambique and Uganda.
The GE Specialist will be responsible for the integration of gender equality within the SHARE project across all three countries. The GE Specialist will also provide technical guidance on gender-transformative program design and implementation, as well as strengthen the ability of country teams in this regard. The GE Specialist will report directly to the RTP Uganda Country Director and will have a dotted reporting line with the RTP Global GE Specialist. The incumbent will work closely with SHARE Project Director and with a diverse team and partners across Uganda, Mozambique, and Ghana.
